Ballot-Flurin balms and ointments: natural care for the whole family

At Ballot-Flurin, our natural balms and ointments are inspired by age-old shepherd's recipes passed down through generations. Formulated with beeswax, propolis, organic honey and plant-based actives, they are handmade in our Bee Factory in the Hautes-Pyrénées, right next to our own hives. These 100% natural care preparations soothe, purify, hydrate and repair skin on the face and body, for the whole family.

Our organic balms are designed to be everyday allies: easy to slip into a bag, a toiletry kit or a family medicine cabinet, they help with minor cuts and scrapes, dry skin, sensitive joints or tired legs, with no synthetic additives or preservatives.

Why choose a propolis and beeswax balm or ointment?

The balm format has a real advantage: a concentrated texture that protects the skin for a long time while being applied in very small amounts. Rich in fine beeswax and black or white propolis extract, our balms form a natural protective film over fragile areas: chapped lips, damaged hands, dry or irritated skin. Propolis, well known for its richness in polyphenols and antioxidants, is a prime active ingredient to soothe skin and help it regenerate.

The go-to multi-purpose balm — Pyrenean Healing Balm, our best-seller with over 100 reviews, is an all-terrain balm rich in beeswax and black propolis that protects lips and nose, repairs chapped and cracked skin, and soothes feet. Available in a 30 ml jar or a 10 ml pocket size to take everywhere.

The all-in-one balm for face, body and hair — Hive Ointment combines sunflower oil, propolis, castor oil, honey and pollen for a rich care suited to the driest skin and hair.

The balm for damaged hands — Emergency Hand Balm, enriched with propolis, honey and beeswax, is specially formulated for hands stressed by cold weather, frequent washing or manual work.

The lip-loving balm — L'Apicultrice® Magnificent Lips Balm combines beeswax, honey and hive actives to nourish and protect sensitive lips over time.

Organic care, free from additives, made in France

All our balms and ointments are formulated with a maximum of naturally derived ingredients, most of which come from organic farming, with no synthetic additives or preservatives, and are never tested on animals. Some references are suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or for children from 36 months or 7 years depending on their formulation. All our preparations are designed and handmade in our workshop in the Hautes-Pyrénées, in line with our Gentle Beekeeping® commitment.

How to properly use a Ballot-Flurin balm?

Our balms are generally applied by gently massaging a small amount onto dry, irritated or sensitive areas, and can be reapplied as needed.
