Since prehistoric times, Crete and Greece have been a center for apiculture. The Greeks even attributed divine properties to honey. Eros, the god of Love, dipped his arrows in honey, and Aristotle was the first to scientifically study bees.

• Honeycomb uncapped by hand. Unpasteurized, not heated above 35°C (natural temperature of the hive)
