| • Taster's comment: This honey has a very dark almost black color when liquid; crystallizes after several months. Its aroma often suggests dry leaves and undergrowth. Full-bodied and fragrant, it has woody flavors in the mouth that generate aromas of licorice..
• Properties & benefits: very rich in trace minerals, this is a stimulating, fortifying honey recommended in winter and in cool periods for its antiseptic properties that help to maintain respiratory tract health.
