2 –Deep respect for your skin:
Skin is a complex organ that self-regulates and depends first of all upon a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Selected with meticulous care, the bio and pure ingredients from our bees have a mission other than that of artificially providing the ecosystem of the skin with the oily and active materials that it is missing.
Their precious potentised, principles see first of all to sustainably purifying and vitalising your skin, and thus support its natural self-correcting processes: they naturally regulate the levels of humidity and of oils in the skin, and maintain the correct equilibrium of the hydrolipidic film.
Propolis provides a special immunity to the skin. It stimulates the protective flora that allows it to resist the attacks of the sun, the wind and stress much better. It stimulates the skin’s renewal.
3 –True beauty, inner beauty:
True beauty is the presence of life within all of us, in harmony with everything that surrounds us. How can you want to be beautiful if in order to do so it is necessary to pollute the earth with chemical products and injure bees in order to steal away their harvest?
Our preparations do not claim to give you back the skin you had when you were 20 or to protect you forever from the ravages of time (besides, what could be more beautiful than a well-placed wrinkle or a bit of roundness?). They aspire first of all to stimulate your natural beauty while respecting the order of things, and to avoid an abnormal ageing of your skin.
This is also the human organ that is most sensitive to our inner state of being; there is a close correspondence between our emotions and our skin type.
This is why the beauty of the body is first of all that of the spirit. With the richest active ingredients of our preparations*, the most subtle Elixirs de la ruche® (Hive Elixirs) mix together delicately to help in the equilibrium of the emotions responsible for skin problems.

4 –100% useful and beneficial ingredients:
Traditional cosmetics are often composed of some natural active ingredients on a neutral base of inexpensive material, and of synthetic chemical ingredients coming from the petrochemical industry …
Our formulations, in contrast, are simple and healthy: for the great majority we use the treasures of the Beehive, supported by plants from our regional fields (apricot, St John’s wort, gentian, lime blossom, borage). You will have at your disposal an extraordinary source of natural active ingredients (vitamins, sugars, trace elements, flavonoids, etc.) naturally recognised by your skin, which prevents undesirable secondary effects and increases the effectiveness of our preparations.
One example: for the Baume de l’Apicultrice® Lèvres Magnifiques, (beekeeper’s balm magnificent lips), we do not use any paraffin, because this very low-cost petroleum derivative has the drawback of drying out the skin and not letting it breathe. Instead we use organic ultra-fine beeswax capping from our region. Felt to be the purest, its film forming properties keep the skin from dehydrating and let it breathe. |
