All this started in 1977 with a beautiful love story between a man, a woman and the little people of bees.
For 30 years Catherine Flurin and Philippe Ballot have always been fascinated by bees, a civilisation far older that ours (120 million years!).
The language of bees
Philippe, the master of bees, has been devoted his life to learn the language of bees so as to better collaborate with the hive: we take care of it and in return we receive as an offering the treasures of the hive (honey, royal jelly, propolis, pollen…) of an exceptional quality, because they have been obtained within the frame of a mutual respect.
Respect of human being, respect of the living
Actually how could we aim to fitness and wellbeing, if we do buy a product contributing to taking advantage of the bees, polluting our environment and creating unemployement? Everything is linked: to preserve our health and feel beautiful and well-balanced deep inside, we need to collaborate with the bees, with our environment and the human society as a whole!
Bees are nourishing, but healing and beautifying as well! Thousands of enthusiastic customes have already used our healing food and our form and beauty preparations to their full satisfaction, because they are not entirely like the others. Really natural, they have been certified Organic or Cosmebio and are of course free from any synthetic ingredient (pesticides, preservatives). But there is much more to be said…
Respect du produit
Our preparation efficiency comes from the experience of 3 generations in alternative medecine and from the love we are feeling for our bees: for us it has the same importance. The raw materials are produced and prepared on site with real beekeepers in a living countryside.
The precious potentized ingredients remain instact till they come to you thanks to home-made manufacturing methods based on low-tech manual and non polluting processes (for more information read: Our values and commitments).
Respect of the future
Since 1983, date of the first fights and being in particular pionneers in the organic beekeeping, the small team of 18 persons has been keeping, on the slopes of the French Pyrenees,†on building the future organic beekeeping with its exlusive Apiculture Douce® (Gentle Beekeeping) based on the language of bees and now fully acknowledged world wide.
Ballot-Flurin, it's a true adventure that we are proud to share with you with respect of the other forms of life.
